Leverentz Lake State Forest Campground
About this site
This secluded, rustic campground sits on the shores of Little and Big Leverentz Lakes. The campground is split into two sections, with sites 1-11 on Big Leverentz Lake and sites 12-18 on Little Leverentz Lake. There is access to the Sheep Ranch Pathway from both campgrounds, as well as excellent fishing opportunities. The campground also has a boat launch. The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin via US-10 and Forest Drive. All sites will accommodate tents and small trailers, but some sites can accommodate 30-foot trailers/vehicles. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well are available. No electrical hookups. Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) are posted at the information kiosk. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry. The campground is open all year; however, the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed.
