Leighton North Campground

Leighton North Campground is one of three campgrounds in Tunkwa Provincial Park, offering 21 traditional sites in a scenic meadow with views of surrounding hills and Leighton Lake. It is the nearest campground to the ATV staging area, though ATVs are prohibited within park and campground boundaries. The park features two man-made trout fishing lakes (Tunkwa and Leighton), grasslands, forests, wetlands, and supports activities like camping, fishing, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. Additional Info: All sites are dry camping (no hookups). Public washrooms (outhouses) are available. Picnic tables and fire pits at sites. Vehicle-accessible. Reservations recommended via BC Parks.
