Leighton Campground
About this site
Leighton Campground is one of three vehicle-accessible campgrounds in Tunkwa Provincial Park, offering 18 sites with lakeside views on Leighton Lake, ideal for swimming, fishing, and boating. Sites are traditional dry camping with no hookups. The park features clean outhouses and is popular for trout fishing and birdwatching. ATVs are prohibited within campground boundaries but a staging area borders Leighton North. Additional Info: Tunkwa Provincial Park operates year-round with main season May 15 to September 29. Two special management areas are foot access only.
