Leelanau State Park Campground is located at the very tip of Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula along Lake Michigan's rocky shoreline. The campground features 51 sites, with approximately half positioned directly on the water and the remainder tucked into wooded areas providing privacy and lake views. The cool, shaded sites beneath big trees and access to the rocky beach give this campground its distinctive character. Essential amenities include potable water and trailer fill stations, with vault toilets and no electrical hookups, modern restrooms, showers, or dump station. Three mini cabins are available, each sleeping five people with bunk beds, mini refrigerators, microwaves, and covered porches. Two cabins are pet-friendly.
