The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Leech Lake Recreation Area, is located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest in Federal Dam, MN and is best known for its fishing and boat access to Portage Bay on Leech Lake. Excellent opportunities are available for walleye, perch, bass, northern pike and musky, where every cast has the potential to yield a true trophy. The campground offers well-maintained campsites, showers, clean facilities, boat mooring and a friendly staff ready to assist you. Additional Info: 77 total campsites: 73 RV/electric sites (8 with full hookups), 4 primitive walk-to tent sites. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, dump station, laundry, boat ramps, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and hiking trails. Some sites reservable.
