Lawler Lodge and Alpine Cabins is a reservation-only group camping facility managed by Riverside County Regional Parks, located 8-9 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at 5,300 feet elevation in the San Jacinto Mountains. It features Lawler Lodge (built 1918, accommodates up to 58 with annex, includes restrooms, showers, fireplace, commercial kitchen, large deck) and Lawler Alpine Cabins (six cabins for up to 60, commercial kitchen, community room, stand-alone restrooms and showers). A field allows tent camping and activities. Open year-round with pure artesian well water, hot water, hiking access, and firewood available ($8/bundle with notice). Reservations required via 1-800-234-7275. Additional Info: - Fees: $360/night for first 30 people + $12/additional person over 30. - Capacity: Up to 126 total. - On 80 acres, vehicle accessible.
