Lassen is a lovely little campground near the obsidian mines. It is currently under discussion for decommissioning.This isopen area camping as there are no designated camp-sites. FRock fire rings are located throughout the area. Additional Info: Lassen Creek Campground is located in Modoc National Forest near obsidian collection areas. It offers open-area camping with no designated campsites, rock fire rings, pit toilets, and picnic tables scattered throughout. The area is accessible year-round via gravel forest roads.
