Large Vehicle Campground

The Large Vehicle Campground is located within Scab Creek Recreation Area in the foothills of the Wind River Mountains at approximately 8,200 feet elevation. The campground provides 7 campsites designed for pack stock, trailers, large RVs, and campers. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water, corrals for pack stock, fire pits, and picnic tables. The campground is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis from May 1 to November 15. A 14-day stay limit applies. The area provides access to the Scab Creek Wilderness Study Area and the Bridger Wilderness trail system.
