Langohr Campground
About this site
Langohr Campground is located in scenic Hyalite Canyon on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest, just 12 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. The campground sits next to Hyalite Creek at an elevation of 6,200 feet. It offers 19 single-family campsites, most situated in open meadows along the creek with some among scattered pine and fir trees. Facilities include tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection. A group picnic area (Site 20) for day use only accommodates up to 50 people. Hyalite Creek provides fishing for Yellowstone cutthroat, Arctic grayling, and brook trout. Hiking trails are available in Hyalite Canyon. Additional Info: Managed by Rocky Mountain Recreation Company. Two sites are ADA accessible. Paved roads and average parking spur 22x60 feet. Firewood available for purchase.
