Lakeside Campground

The Lakeside Campground and Recreation Area is located on the northern shore of Hords Creek Lake in Coleman County, Texas. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this established campground offers approximately 60 campsites with water and electric hookups in a scenic setting of gently rolling hills dotted with live oak trees. The campground is partially open year-round with full operations March 1 through September 30. All campsites have water and electric hookups, with some sites featuring sewer hookups and six sites equipped with screened shelters. Amenities include boat ramps, fishing piers, and showers. The campground is conveniently located just eight miles west of Coleman, Texas. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. No cash payments are accepted at the campground.
