Nestled on Lake Superior's shoreline, this rustic campground offers 18 tent and small trailer sites. Its prime location, six miles west of Muskallonge Lake State Park and 12 miles east of Grand Marais, makes it ideal for adventure seekers. Enjoy direct access to the sandy beach or hike the adjacent 7.3-mile Blind Sucker Pathway. For fishing and paddling, the Blind Sucker No. 1 State Forest Campground is just one mile southeast, situated on the Blind Sucker Flooding. Additional Info: Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water from a hand-pump well, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site. Overnight fee is $20 for most sites. Camping limited to 15-day maximum stay. Open year-round, but not plowed in winter.
