About this site
Cart-in campground with 13 sites spread up to 0.6 miles from parking near Lake Superior's shoreline at Tettegouche State Park. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, and bear-proof storage locker. Facilities are intentionally rustic with vault toilets. Potable water is not available at campsites; nearest water source is at the park office approximately 1.5 miles away. The campground provides access to Lake Superior's scenic pebble beaches and connects to Tettegouche State Park's extensive trail network featuring waterfalls, overlooks, and rugged North Shore terrain. Year-round access, though carting equipment becomes impractical when snow covers the ground during winter months.
