Lake Poinsett State Park
About this site
Lake Poinsett State Park is a 30-site campground managed by Arkansas State Parks & Recreation, situated among the scenic rolling hills atop Crowley’s Ridge in northeastern Arkansas. The campground accommodates RVs up to 45 feet with water and electric hookups on gravel sites equipped with metal picnic tables, fire pits with cooking grates, and pedestal grills. Four unisex restroom and shower facilities serve both RV and tent camping areas. The park centers around its namesake 640-acre lake offering fishing for bass, crappie, bream, and catfish under catch-and-release regulations except for catfish and brim. A 1.3-mile hiking trail connects from the campground area, and a playground serves families.
