Lake Kegonsa State Park Family Campground

Lake Kegonsa State Park is a 342-acre park located on the northeast shore of Lake Kegonsa in Dane County, Wisconsin. The family campground features approximately 90 sites, with 29-42 sites offering electric hookups. Campsites accommodate tents, pop-ups, trailers, and RVs, and each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. The park offers a swimming beach, picnic areas with reservable shelters, boat launch, and approximately 5 miles of hiking trails through oak woodlands, prairies, and wetlands. Fishing opportunities are excellent. The campground is open May 1 through October 31. Reservations can be made online or by calling 888-947-2757.
