Mammoth Lakes Basin is located through town, just 5 to 10 minutes drive. The campground is located a short walk from the shore of Lake George. 15 Campsites. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $34 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night Additional Info: No reservations required; register at campground. High bear activity area; bear-proof lockers at each site (48" x 30" x 36"), all food, scented items, and trash must be stored in lockers or bear-proof receptacles. Do not store in vehicles. Quiet hours 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Dogs must be leashed. Amenities include restrooms, potable water, and picnic tables. Elevation 9,000 feet.
