Lake George Campground

Lake George Campground is located a short walk from the shore of Lake George in the Mammoth Lakes Basin of Inyo National Forest at approximately 9,000 feet elevation. It offers 15-16 first-come, first-served single-family campsites best suited for tent camping, though some can accommodate small camper vans up to 20 feet. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables, fire rings with grates, and bear-proof food storage lockers at each site. The area features high bear activity, so all food and scented items must be stored in lockers. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pets are allowed on leash.
