Lake George Battleground Campground is located just 1/4 mile south of the Village of Lake George. It offers 68 tent and trailer sites, hot showers, flush toilets, trailer dump station, and recycling center. Swimming is available at the nearby Lake George Beach Day-Use Facility. The campground is near historical sites including a self-guided interpretive path at Battlefield Park and remnants of colonial military activities. Additional Info: 68 sites for tents and trailers. Accessible features include three campsites (8, 42, 67) and shower building. Operates May 15 to October 12.
