Lake Fairfax Park Campground is a 93-site county park campground located on 476 wooded acres near Reston, Virginia, approximately 18 miles from Washington, D.C. The campground wraps around a 20-acre lake and offers a mix of site types including RV sites with electric hookups (20/30 amp or 20/30/50 amp service), tent sites, and group camping areas. All sites include picnic tables and fire rings. Amenities include hot showers, drinking water, dump station, Wi-Fi at the registration office, and firewood available for purchase. The park is open year-round and allows pets. Nearby attractions include fishing, kayaking, hiking trails, and the seasonal Water Mine family swimming area with tubing and water features. Reservations are strongly recommended.
