Lake Daniel Campground

About seven miles south Breckenridge, TX is Lake Daniel. The city-owned campground is located along the northern shore, on the west end of the dam. The campground is free, but has very limited accommodations. There are only two sites large enough for full-sized RVs, and about two or three more sites for small to mid-sized RVs. Additional Info: City of Breckenridge-operated primitive camping sites available at Park at Dam with three public boat ramps (largely unusable when lake level falls about 10 feet below spillway). Access via US 183 to FM 576, then County Road 147 (bumpy road). Camping limited to 14 days maximum. No fires except in designated areas.
