Primitive campground at Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge adjacent to Lake 13, allowing tent and RV camping on a first-come, first-served basis with a 3-5 night maximum stay. Sites are approximately 40' wide by 60-100' long with no potable water, electricity, or sewage hookups. Generators allowed but campfires prohibited. Pets permitted on leash. Two accessible pit toilets located 0.25 miles from sites at the lake entrance. Open year-round. Additional Info: Managed by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Located 0.75 miles north of visitor center in Public Use Area.
