Laguna Meadow Campsite 4 (LM-4) is an isolated hike-in backcountry campsite in Big Bend National Park, located at the end of a spur trail approximately 3.5 miles from the Basin Trailhead via the Laguna Meadows Trail. Maximum 6 people, 2 tents. Hammocks are prohibited. A solar-composting pit toilet is located near the spur trail. Bears and other animals are frequently seen in this area; always use the bear box at campsite and never leave food or packs unattended. No wood or ground fires permitted. There is no water available at the site; the closest water is at the Basin Visitor Center spigot. Carry adequate water (suggested 1 gallon per person per 24 hours). Parking is available at the Chisos Basin trailhead or Chisos Basin Amphitheater.
