Laguna Meadow 1 (LM-1) is a hike-in backcountry campsite in Big Bend National Park's Chisos Mountains, 3.5 miles from the Basin trailhead via Laguna Meadow Trail. Maximum 6 people, 2 tents. Hammocks prohibited. Bears and other wildlife frequent the area; use bear box and never leave food unattended. No wood or ground fires. No water available; carry 1 gallon per person per day. Solar-composting pit toilet nearby. Additional Info: Secluded site with views of Emory Peak. Parking at Chisos Basin trailhead.
