Lady Evelyn Falls Territorial Park
About this site
Lady Evelyn Falls Territorial Park is located near the Hamlet of Kakisa, 167 km from the NWT/Alberta border on Highway 1. The park features 23 powered campsites with a full range of amenities including washrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, picnic shelters, and a playground. A short trail from the campground leads to Lady Evelyn Falls, where the Kakisa River cascades over a limestone escarpment forming a dramatic curtain of water. A staircase leads into the gorge at the base of the falls. The warm, boulder-strewn Kakisa River offers excellent spots for wading, swimming, and fishing for Northern Pike, Pickerel, and Arctic Grayling. The park operates seasonally from May 15 to September 15.
