LAC VIEUX DESERT (Campground) Additional Info: Lac Vieux Desert Campground offers 31 non-electric campsites nestled in pine and hardwood forest on the western shore of 4,017-acre Lac Vieux Desert, the headwaters of the Wisconsin River. Sites accommodate tents and RVs/trailers up to 35-40 feet, each with fire ring, picnic table, and parking spur. Amenities include drinking water (hand pump), accessible vault toilets, and garbage service. First-come, first-served with self-registration kiosk. Features boat landing, swimming beach, and day-use picnic area. Pets allowed on leash. Open approximately mid-April to mid-October.
