La Posta Campsite is a primitive campsite within Big Bend Ranch State Park near Redford, TX. Located less than half a mile from the main road with easy vehicle access, it features a shade shelter (ramada), picnic table, fire ring, and two tent pads. The site is situated in a unique area encompassing characteristics of both the Llano (flat lands) and upper Fresno Canyon. Nearby trails include the Encino Hike and Bike Trail, Llano Loop, Old Stage Road Trail, and Chilicote Spring Trail. A permit is required to camp; reservations can be made through the Barton Warnock reservation system. Campers must bring their own portable toilet, drinking water, and firewood. Maximum stay is 14 nights per permit, with an eight-person and two-vehicle limit per site.
