La Posa South Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA) is part of the BLM La Posa LTVA system near Quartzsite, Arizona. It spans thousands of acres of flat desert terrain suitable for dispersed RV camping, created in 1983 for winter visitors. Seasonal facilities include 10 ADA accessible vault toilets, 8 water faucets, dry dump station, dump station with water, and trash services. Additional Info: Permits required September 15-April 15: long-term $180 (7 months), short-visit $40 (14 days, renewable). Off-season (April 16-September 14): $15/vehicle overnight, max 14 days in 28. No electric or sewer hookups, no showers.
