La Posa LTVA South is one of four La Posa Long Term Visitor Areas managed by BLM south of Quartzsite, Arizona. It provides dispersed long-term camping on 11,400 acres of flat desert landscape from September 15 to April 15, with permits required: $180 seasonal long-term or $40 for 14 days (renewable). Campers must be self-contained. Facilities include 10 ADA vault toilets, 8 water faucets, dry dump station, dump station with water, and trash services. Additional Info: Dispersed sites with no hookups. Vault toilets, trash dumpsters, water access, and dump stations available. Seasonal operation; day-use $10, overnight $15 outside main season. Maximum 14 days in 28-day period off-season.
