Knowles Overlook Campground is a primitive campground with 20 individual sites in the Rabbit Valley Motorized Area of McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. Located 300 feet above the Colorado River canyon, it offers panoramic views of the Colorado River, San Juan and La Sal Mountains, Colorado National Monument, and Grand Mesa. Access requires high-clearance 4x4 vehicle through a dry stream bed; vehicles longer than 30 feet not accommodated. Stays limited to 7 days per month.
