Rabbit Valley Knowles Campsites Additional Info: Knowles Overlook Campground is located in McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area approximately 300 feet above the Colorado River, offering panoramic views of the Colorado River canyon, San Juan and La Sal Mountains, Colorado National Monument, and Grand Mesa. The campground features 20 individual campsites with picnic tables and tent pads designed for tent and overland enthusiasts. Access requires a high-clearance vehicle with 4x4 strongly recommended, as the road passes through a dry stream bed that can rapidly change with storms. Vehicles longer than 30 feet cannot be accommodated. Stays are limited to 7 days per month.
