Dispersed primitive camping across 36,000 acres of BLM-managed sand dunes, mud flats, and hills in the Great Salt Lake Desert. Vault toilets available near main access roads. No drinking water; self-contained camping recommended. Adjacent to bombing range; stay within boundaries. OHV day use pass required ($10), available on Recreation.gov. Additional Info: Accessible via I-80 Knolls exit, south over overpass, west on old highway ~2 miles, then south across railroad tracks. Managed by BLM Salt Lake Field Office.
