KINGFISHER ISLAND (Campground) Additional Info: Nestled in the southwest arm of Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Kingfisher Island offers a unique and serene camping experience with 8 boat-in only tent sites on its picturesque east shore. The campground boasts new docks that provide easy access to the island and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. A floating restroom is available on the dock, though potable water is not provided. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Accessible by boat only: 3 miles from Sheep Creek Boat Ramp, 7 miles from Lucerne Valley or Antelope Flat boat ramps, and 17.5 miles from Flaming Gorge Dam. Operates May through September. 2025 rate $26/night. Pets must be on a leash.
