Kimsey Creek Group Camp Sites B & C
About this site
Kimsey Creek Group Campground is a group camping area within Standing Indian Campground in Nantahala National Forest. Three group sites accommodate a maximum of 25 people per site and are available on a reservation basis only. The campground is bordered by Kimsey Creek and the Nantahala River, a native trout stream, with numerous hiking trails to adjoining mountain peaks. Port-a-john toilets are on site. Nearby attractions include the Appalachian Trail and Standing Indian Mountain. Open April 1 - November 30. Access via US 64W from Franklin, then old US 64 to Standing Indian Campground.
