This site is along the Kettle River. It is a flat open site good for group camping. Kettle River is closed to fishing July 25 to August 25, bait ban April 1 to October 31 and rainbow trout release year round. Additional Info: Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan – Boundary Region with 113 campsites including vehicle/tent sites, group camping, playground, bike park, day-use area, pet beach, showers, flush toilets, and sani-station. Features access to Kettle Valley Railway Trans Canada Trail for biking/hiking, swimming and tubing in Kettle River with sandy beaches, canoeing/kayaking, and fishing (licence required; bait ban above Cascade Falls April 1-Oct 31). Pets on leash permitted except beaches/buildings. Open approximately April to late September. Firewood and ice available for purchase. Reservations recommended in peak season.
