Kerr Lake State Recreation Area – J.C. Cooper Campground offers year-round tent, trailer, and RV camping, some with electric and water hookups. Located at Satterwhite Point access next to 50,000-acre Kerr Lake reservoir. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water spigots, dump station, campers-only boat ramp and dock, and hiking trail. 98 campsites (61 with 30-amp electric hookups), many waterfront with large parking areas (25-108 feet). Each site has a table, fire ring, and grate. Firewood available from camp host. Additional Info: Year-round operation in Vance County near Virginia state line. Accessible and group sites available.
