Kendall Designated Camping Area
About this site
Free, primitive camping area located approximately 1 mile off Highway 550 near Silverton, Colorado. The campground features both tent and RV sites with riverside views. Amenities include one vault toilet (seasonally locked into June) and fire rings. No water, electric, sewer, or shower hookups available; bring your own water and pack out all trash. Pets allowed. Note: Historic mining activity in the area has polluted some creeks with metals like lead; avoid letting pets drink from or play in water sources.
