KELLER PEAK YELLOW POST (Campground) Additional Info: Keller Peak Yellow Post Sites consist of 9 individual campsites located along a 5-mile paved road leading to the Keller Peak Fire Lookout in San Bernardino National Forest. All sites are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Each site accommodates a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles, with amenities including 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring per site. There are no restroom facilities or drinking water. The road is narrow and not recommended for trailers or RVs. During winter, Keller Peak Road closes due to snow accumulation, though hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing access remains available. Sites are near the Children's Forest Visitor Center, Children's Forest Exploration Trail, and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. A valid California Campfire Permit is required for fire ring use.
