Keller Peak Yellow Post Site #9 is a free, first-come-first-served dispersed camping site within San Bernardino National Forest. The site features a picnic table and fire ring. Site #9 is secluded and requires a short hike of approximately 300 feet from the parking area. Maximum 8 people and 2 vehicles per site. No restroom facilities or drinking water available. 14-day camping limit in any 30-day period. Located near the Children's Forest Visitor Center and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. Road access via narrow paved Keller Peak Road (Forest Road 1N96); typically closed in winter due to snow. Horses and pack animals allowed with restrictions.
