Keller Peak Yellow Post #5 is one of nine individual free dispersed campsites along Keller Peak Road (FR 1N96) in San Bernardino National Forest, available first-come, first-served with no reservations. Limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles maximum per site. Amenities include 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring. No restrooms or drinking water available; pack it in, pack it out. Road is paved but narrow, not recommended for trailers or RVs. 14-day camping limit. Horses/pack animals allowed with restrictions. Sites often occupied in warmer months; closed in winter due to snow. Additional Info: Near Children's Forest Visitor Center, Exploration Trail, and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. Elevation approximately 7200 feet.
