Keller Peak Yellow Post Sites are a series of nine individual campsites located along Keller Peak Road (Forest Road 1N96) in San Bernardino National Forest near Running Springs, California. Each site is available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. Amenities include 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring per site. No restroom facilities or drinking water available. 14-day camping limit. The paved road is very narrow and not recommended for trailers or RVs. During winter, Keller Peak Road closes due to snow accumulation, but sites remain accessible by hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. Sites are near the Children's Forest Visitor Center, Children's Forest Exploration Trail, and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. Elevation: 7,200 feet.
