KCL Campground is a primitive campground with 12 sites (two ADA compliant) in Carrizo Plain National Monument, managed by BLM. Sites include picnic tables and fire pits. Amenities include vault toilets and horse corrals. No electricity, drinking water, or garbage service available; pack out all trash. Formerly owned by Kern County Land Company with historic barn structures (do not enter). Additional Info: Open year-round on first-come, first-served basis, no reservations. Some shade trees. Suitable for tents and small RVs.
