Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park

Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park is located in Englehart just off Highway 11. The name derives from the Ojibwe phrase for "high falls" or "water running over the edge." The park features two campgrounds: Pine Grove Campground (sites #1-32) with electricity, and Aspen Crescent Campground (sites #33-46), a non-electric loop with 14 sites. The park offers hiking trails and scenic lookouts providing views of the Englehart River and several cascades and waterfalls in the valley. Facilities include comfort stations with showers and flush toilets, picnic areas with shelters, and firepits along trails.
