Kane Lake is a recreation site located in Kane Valley, approximately 20 minutes south of Merritt, BC, accessed via Highway 5A and Kane Valley Road. The site accommodates all types of camping including motorhomes, horse trailers, and tents, with 10 campsites of varying sizes. An expanded equine area features large campsites with valley views. The site is popular with families and outdoor recreationalists and offers fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and horseback riding opportunities. A 24-7 site host is located at the adjacent Harmon Lake East recreation site. The nearby Harmon Lake Forest Interpretive Trail and 50+ kilometres of Kane Valley cross country ski trails are available for exploration. Cash only payment; first come, first served basis.
