Kamiak Butte County Park

Kamiak Butte County Park is a small, first-come-first-served campground with 8 designated campsites located at the base of Kamiak Butte near Palouse, Washington. The campground is gated and closed from dusk until 7 AM. Each site features a picnic table and fire pit. Amenities include year-round pit toilets and seasonal drinking water (typically mid-April through mid-October). No showers, electrical hookups, water hookups, or sewer hookups are available. The campground accommodates tents and small vehicles only; large RVs are not permitted. Camping is free. The park is a designated National Natural Landmark with over 5 miles of forested hiking trails and panoramic views of the Palouse from the 3,641-foot elevation.
