About this site
Kalispell Island Boat-in Campground is located on Priest Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. Site 49 is one of 52 campsites spread across 12 separate camping areas on the 264-acre island. All sites are accessible only by boat. The campground is open late May through mid-September. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Most sites have vault toilets; some require campers to bring portable toilets (buckets available for checkout at Kalispell Bay Boat Launch). There is no drinking water available; this is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility. Pets must be leashed at all times. The nightly fee is $15. Maximum 10 people per site, with a 14-day camping limit. Check-out time is 2:00 p.m. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. No glass bottles on beaches, no bathing or washing dishes in the lake, and no fireworks.
