About this site
Site 42 is located in the Rocky Point loop at Kalispell Island Boat-in Campground on Priest Lake in northern Idaho. This primitive, boat-access-only site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Most campsites require campers to bring their own portable toilets (buckets available for checkout at Kalispell Bay Boat Launch). There is no drinking water; this is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility. Pets must be leashed at all times. The island offers excellent wildlife viewing and bird watching along a 2.5-mile loop trail with phenomenal lake views. Open late May through mid-September. 14-day camping limit. Maximum 10 people per site.
