Kalispell Island-040
About this site
Kalispell Island Boat-IN Campground is located on the southeast side of Kalispell Island on Priest Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The campground features 52 sites (51 single sites and one group site for 10-30 individuals) accessible by boat only. All sites are rustic with picnic tables and campfire rings provided. Most campsites require campers to bring their own portable toilets, though toilet buckets are available for checkout at Kalispell Boat Launch. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility with no developed water systems or drinking water currently available. The island is surrounded by clear waters of Priest Lake and faces the beautiful Selkirk Mountains. Campers can enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddling, hiking, and wildlife observation. Reservations are split 60/40 between reservable and first-come, first-served sites. Open late May through mid-September, 24 hours daily. 14-day camping limit. Maximum 10 people per site. Pets must be leashed. No glass bottles on beaches.
