Juniper Beach Provincial Park

Juniper Beach Provincial Park is located on the north shore of the Thompson River, 19 km east of Cache Creek on Highway 1 in south central British Columbia. The 260-hectare park protects a representative desert landscape containing sagebrush, prickly pear cactus, and juniper. The park features 32 campsites with 30 amp electrical and water hookups, a separate grassed tenting area with tables and fire pits, a sani-station, and a sandy beach with a natural swimming pool. Popular activities include boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking, train-spotting, and wildlife viewing. The park is open from late spring to early fall.
