Judith Landing

Judith Landing Campground is located on the Upper Missouri National Wild and Scenic River at the PN Bridge, a major river crossing between Big Sandy on the north and Winifred on the south. The campground is open from May 15 to October 15 annually. This is a popular site for launching watercraft, as well as camping, picnicking and fishing. Campsites are on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations. There are eight sites that can accommodate trailers or recreational vehicles (RVs) up to 40 feet in length. Each site has a designated fire ring and picnic table. The campground is equipped with vault toilets and trash dumpsters. There is no water available in the campground. There are no hookups available. The stay limit is 14 days. Access is via Montana State Highway 236 south from Big Sandy (44 miles total, with approximately 17 miles paved and the remainder improved gravel) or via the PN Road from Winifred (approximately 23 miles).
