Jones Crossing Campground
About this site
Jones Crossing Campground is located 25 minutes south of Paisley, Oregon, right on the free-flowing Chewaucan River. Some juniper and ponderosa pines dot the camp, offering shade. There are eight spacious campsites each with a picnic table and fire grate, and one vault toilet. There is no potable water; visitors need to pack plenty of water. Campers can fish for rainbow or brook trout in the Chewaucan River and access the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Season: 05/15 - 10/15; 10/16-05/14 Open with reduced services. Please keep vehicles 100 feet from the river’s edge. No fees are required for this site.
