JohnsonMesa is a dispersed camping area located east of Las Vegas on NM 65 and FR 153. Facilities:vaulted toilets, tables and grills. NO potable water available. Additional Info: Dispersed sites accessible within 150 feet of the campground road that circles Johnson Mesa. Managed by Santa Fe National Forest. Pets allowed. No water, showers, dump station, electric, water, or sewer hookups. Area affected by Calf Fire in 2022 but remains open.
